Dear Larry and Tony,

I wanted to write you a brief note to thank you both for all the time, energy and expertise you put forth in helping me sell Medex Practice Solutions, Inc. this past July.  Your initial phone call and follow-up visit to Oakdale was very timely.  While I had already spent a considerable amount of money to work with another advisory firm, when you both showed up for our meeting, I had an immediate feeling of trust and confidence in your ability to walk me through the sales process.   My gut feeling was well founded since your efforts and professionalism culminated in a fair sales price and set of terms that met my needs and those of my family.   Of all the interested acquisition candidates we spoke to through this process, you both helped me pick the buyer that was the best fit.   These past 6 months have proven that to be true. 

I appreciated several things in particular about working with you through this process.  First, you kept me informed on a regular basis through calls, e-mails and visits regarding everything you were doing.  The development of the marketing packets was well done, the placements of ads in the Wall Street Journal were effective, and your connections with Private Equity Groups were extensive.   From day one, I not only felt like we were making progress, but I saw the progress in action. 

Once we entered the negotiation phase, I appreciated your depth of experience which quickly shifted our deal point discussion with the buyer to where it needed to be.    I also appreciated the knowledge of the M & A attorney you recommended.  His attention to detail and negotiating skills also helped us construct a solid legal document that will protect my interests. 

Bottom line, you did a great job and were a pleasure to work with during this somewhat stressful and emotional activity.  I found it much harder than I thought to part with a business that I built from scratch.  Thank you again for guiding me through the process to a successful conclusion.  If I ever decide to do this again, I will definitely give you a call.
